What happened to the Advance Certificate Program?

It has a new look! INCM and Bethel Seminary put their heads together and came up with a much more comprehensive and cutting edge program. The new format, "Children's Ministry Certification" or "CMC," will allow us to support an even greater number of children's & family ministry leaders. It also allows more freedom in chosing your level of participation and provides the opportunity for a larger variety of topics.

First Level Training: The Equip Starter Course
This course is a free, 12-week course designed for new leaders in children’s and family ministry. The design of the course will be part automated content delivery, part online interaction via private Facebook group, and part live

2nd Level Training: The Engage Children's Ministry Certificate
This is a 75-hour, non-accredited certificate that is not transferrable to a formal education degree. The program includes reading preparation, conference attendance, an online component with a cohort and instructors, and project work.

Topics include: Biblical Foundations of Children’s Ministry, Personal and Spiritual Formation, Cognitive, Moral and Spiritual Development of Children, How Children Learn: Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences, Curriculum Development and Assessment, and so much more.

3rd Level Training: Empower Master Classes
As a means to allow children’s and family ministry leaders an opportunity to dig into special, unique topics, INCM will offer Master Classes. These are unique course offerings, focused on a specific topic.

Each Master Class will be unique in its content offering and duration. Be sure to check out the class descriptions as they become available. There are no prerequisites for Empower.
